He’s been keeping villagers happy for years in Huautla de Jimenez, where he was discovered by Westerners in 1954. This Shroom’s claim to fame comes from the mushroom shaman Maria Sabina, who first showed his powers to travellers in the 50s. Since then, the Huautla Hombre has attracted celebrities such as John Lennon and Bob Dylan with its charm.
Psilocybe Cubensis Huautla Hombre Shooms Trip Report
Twenty minutes after taking this Shroom, you’re lying in the grass and watching the stars. You start seeing strange strands of liquid-looking silver, a line that keeps threading itself from star to star like a web. Constellations are making themselves before your eyes, and blowing themselves apart again.

The sky seems like the top of a snow-globe, sloping at the edges. You sit up, digging your hands into the soil. Tiny worms slither over your fingers. As you look closer, you find they aren’t worms at all, but pink ribbons, burrowing in and out of the ground. You have made the discovery of a century. The earth is stitched together with these ribbons, every patch of grass and soil tightly sewn in a never-ending patchwork. You smile, knowing that you are the only one who understands this great secret – the secret of the world’s making. You pick up a rock, inspecting it, and as you do the solid surface changes. A face appears: two hollow eyes and a gash for a mouth. It speaks to you about your past, where you’ve been and where you’re going next. You sit and talk with it a while, before it begins to sing. The lullaby sends you into a deep, warm sleep. Nothing is on your mind, just the strong vibrations of the universe as it flows through your head.
